	Nightshade Vale A place that is as ancient as it is dangerous, the Nightshade Vale is located deep at the center of the Caliiran Highlands. It is named for the nightshade that rings the entire area, and is rumored to have been formed by a terrible cataclysm that occurred many millenia ago. For those that dare enter into the vale, tens of thousands of soldiers can be seen standing in their battle formations and melee poses, for the magic that went awry during this cataclysm petrified them into perfect statues still clutching weapons now made of stone. Here the bodies of men, elves, dwarves, and monstrous races are still locked in grimaces of pain, and features still twisted by hate. It is said by those few who have explored the haunted vale that voices still speak, and battle cries are still shouted. Even the landscape was turned to stone, and strangely the passage of time has done nothing to erode the scene of battle. Now the vale is haunted by powerful monsters, including one mythical dragon named Amaulydrinah that has not been seen in several centuries, and a powerful sorcerer and necromancer named Sharowaith that has claimed the area as his domain.
